It’s a fact that wine does the body good, in moderation of course.  But did you know that the ingredient Resveratrol, found in merlot, is good for the skin?  Yup! The ingredient proven to be good for the heart is also an antioxidant when put in skin and face creams, helps rejuvenate and revive skin.  For the past few weeks, I’ve been using Vine Vera skin care collection.

Vine Vera makes several skin care collection with the potent benefits of Resveratrol but I chose the merlot and Pinot Noir collections to test out. I’ve been using three products, the  Resveratrol Merlot Facial Serum,  Resveratrol Phyro-Elevating Mask and the Resveratrol body lotion.

We all know that using facial mask is an important step any skin care routine.  This Resveratrol Pinot Noir Phyo-Elevating Mask has vitamins C (Ascorbic Acid), E (Tocopheryl Acetate), A (Retinyl Palmitate) and B (Panthenol), and Chamomilla Recutita Flower Extract to pull out toxins and pollutants out of the skin.

Living in Manhattan, we’re constantly exposed to city pollution.  Adding this mask to your routine ensures the aging effects from pollutants are removed from skin.  I use this foaming mask one a week in the evening after cleansing my face.  I keep it on for about 10 minutes then wash it off with warm water.

I follow up the Resveratrol Merlot Facial Serum, a liquid formula enhanced with Resveratrol, Vitamin E (Tocopheryl Acetate), and Vitamin A (Retinyl Palmitate). This serum combats deep wrinkles and crow’s feet.  Over time it helps smooth the skin and adds a nice glow to the skin.
