One of the most highly requested content I receive on a weekly basis is chic work wear. I’ve been self employed for a few years now but I do still have some of my old corporate clothing in my closet. I love my basic black and navy trousers for versatility but when the weather warms up, I gravitate towards lighter colors and neutrals. It’s ideal to invest in quality pieces that can be worn over and over. I love shopping at Brooks Brothers, M.M. LaFleur, J.Crew and Universal Standard for corporate work wear. They are very good quality and last. I also shop durable pieces from H&M, Express, ASOS and Eloquii to mix and match with items I already own.

For spring 2022, H&M has a garison of work essentials in a neutral palette that I am excited about. Their tapered trousers ($29.99), now available in grey, cream and black, are one of my favorite styles. I own several colors. The brand has expanded the sizing to size 20. I love to pair them with a chunky sweater and flat mules for coffee runs or a silk camisole and a blazer for work meetings. The shirt dress is so versatile and perfect for casual Fridays or offices with a relaxed dress code. Pair it with a blazer or vest and pumps or cinch the waist with a thin belt.
