I have about a gazillion umbrellas and I have lost that many in the past couple of months. Whether it is left on the metro or in a car or in a restaurant, I lose umbrellas faster than I lose weight. Arg. If I love five pounds for every umbrella I have lost, I would be a super model. The saying “April showers brings May flowers,” is really evident this week. The weather has been nothing but stinky and cruddy. I found myself without and umbrella both days because I left them either at work when I was on my way to work or at home when I needed to use it on my treck back home. So this post is in honor of all the umbrellas lost in the battle against the elements. I cannot justify spending a fortune on this necessary evil but I can justify having a cute umbrella over my head on rainy days. Rain on!
