I love weekend brunch as much as the next gal and in New York City and Brooklyn, brunch options are too much to count. There are those times where I would rather ditch heading to a restaurant and instead get friends over to my apartment for a lavish brunch at home.

Brunch at home means two things, plenty of booze and chicken and waffles. I usually buy a large Mionetta prosecco for $20 at my neighborhood liquor store and a box of Vrac Rosé for $25 and add a signature cocktail. With the rise in temps this summer comes my obsession with Limoncello, the Italian liqueur that serves as the perfect base for refreshing cocktails. I prefer Villa Masa Limoncello for this Ballsy Bellini.

Cocktail hour with a lemony, refreshing drink.
