Are you excited for autumn? I don’t know if I’m ready to say goodbye to summer yet because I love the idea of bare shoulders, long evenings and frolicking in the sun for hours.
Even though I’ve pulled out all my fall clothes from the basement and added cozy knits and blazers to my online carts, I am still hanging on to summer. Lately, I’ve been slowly transitioning my outfits to fall and this midi skirt is my way of doing so. It’s by a fellow influencer Folake Kuye, who for a few years now has been creating classic silhouettes to flatter all body types.
If there ever were a skirt to define my style, it would be this Julep Skirt from Shop FKSP. The length hits me perfectly above the ankle so I can showcase my favorite shoes. The high waist cinches me in all the right places, creating the illusion of an elongated torso. I wore it during my trip to Virginia and my mom was begging me to let her have it.
I just want to twirl for days in this skirt. It’s made of heavy linen and would look good as a maxi on a petite frame or a midi on someone much taller than I am.
