It’s the first day of spring y’all! That’s right, it’s time to get out all of my flirty dress and vibrant prints. Do you like my outfit? I’ve been on the market for a striped shirt dress for a few months in anticipation of warmer weather and Eloquii answered my prayers with this gorgeous dress. It comes in both black and red colorways but I opted for the red because well, I really love red.
The shirt dress is such a versatile piece that easily transitions from casual to corporate with little effort. I have several of this style in chambray and silk and I rely on them heavily in the spring and summer when I’m on the go. It also looks amazing with heels, espadrilles, sneakers or gladiator sandals. Honestly, you can’t go wrong wearing this timeless piece. I sometimes top it off with a trench coat on chilly days or a blazer for meetings.
