Fashion wild child Benjamin Cho’s collection of body con mini dresses, skinny trousers and basketwoven dresses stayed true to the designer’s signature style of quirkiness and whimsy. Out of the 18 pieces in his spring 2009 collection, the most baffling were a pink sheer mini cover up and a white sheer jumpsuit. What was he thinking? Are these two pieces meant to be a beach “cover-up” or evening attire for 1990s Pamela Anderson. The two models wearing these two monstrousities were all decked out in outlandish makeup meant for a cocktail dress or even an evening gown. Cho’s collection seems a bit rushed and not well put together but then again “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”
