Bruno Frisoni’s accessories for Roger Vivier’s spring 2013 collection is ethereal and inspired by Marilyn Monroe. The Rendez-Vous collection, according to Frisoni, was loosely inspired by the late silver screen icon’s ‘luminescent and fragile aura.” In the collection is a pink resin clutch with rouged lips, “as if kissed by Marilyn,” a black-and-nude tulle heel, and a leather heel embossed with a baroque motif.
One of the pointed pumps in the collection has a hand-painted sky-blue and tan image inspired by a photo taken by Frisoni of a Tangier sunset. The designer also draws inspiration from Roger Vivier’s iconic Prism lin with geometric panels of stingray, crocodile and python on clutches.
