The Project Runway season 12 finalists showed their collection during New York Fashion Week, held at the tents at Lincoln Center. Host Heidi Klum, along with fellow judges Nina Garcia, Zac Posen were joined by Scandal actress Kerry Washington, who served as the guest judge for the finale.
After welcoming show attendees, Heidi introduced mentor Tim Gunn before the show commenced. The finalists created collections with the money given to them by the show. They were given a last minute challenge, which was to create a look from an unconventional material. Some flopped miserably but others rose to the top with fantastic creations. You’ll have to watch the finale to see who won.
The eight finalists were: The finalist who showed during the runway were Alexander Pope, Kate Pankoke, Jeremy Brandrick, Helen Castillo, Alexandria von Bromssen, Brandon McDonald, Justin LeBlanc and Dom Streater.
