For the past two weeks, I’ve been on a mission to streamline my wardrobe and purge all the things I rarely wear. Most of what I’ve gotten rid off so far are ‘trendy’ pieces I thought I should buy when I was younger. My closet looks a lot better and more me. My look is very classically conservative, an uptown chic with a splash of downtown cool.
When it comes to shoes, I tend to go for the same four silhouettes: strappy heels, ornate ballet flats, round toe pumps and riding boots. Knowing what I like is key to creating a timeless wardrobe.
