Nicholas K offered up a collection for both men and women inspired by the Seventies movie Soylent Green, a futuristic science fiction flick.  The aesthetic from the show was all about layers.  Nicholas and Christopher Kunz, the stylish siblings behind the label, breathed new life into parkas and anoraks with lots of draping. Rihanna and the Olsen twins will love the clothes.  There were voluminous silk trousers belted and paired with a parka, abstract printed knits, and floaty dresses with ruffled bells and whistles.  Though the looks sent on the runway were very editorial, when broken down into individual pieces, the collection is extremely wearable.  The earth toned colors, inspired by paintings by Lyonel Feininger, included sandy beige, cinnamon, muted gray and blue and white.  As always, fans of the brand will be thrilled with outerwear, which includes lightweight parkas, anoraks and leather jackets.
