As July winds down blissfully, I am steadily falling head over heels with mid-Summer nights; cool evenings spent at my family home in Virginia, attending lavish Summer evening galas all gussied up and dancing the night away to a Sinatra band overlooking the water. What’s not to love about pastel pinks, cerulean, nude and gold lace, bows and hydrangeas? I am drawing inspiration this week from Valentino, Alexander McQueen, Diane Von Furstenberg, Eugenia Kim, Mulberry, Marchesa and Milly.
