Macy’s just opened the largest footwear department in the world at the flagship in Herald Square, knocking Selfridges down to number two. During fashion week, Macy’s gave fashion editors a glimpse at the new designers housed on the shoe level, with some of the hottest styles seen on the fall runways. Among the list are Vince Camuto, L.A.M.B, Calvin Klein Collection, Truth or Dare, Rachel Roy, Dolce Vita, Michael Kors and even Louis Vuitton. There will be over 280,000 pairs of shoes in the new Macy’s shoe department, all housed in 39,000 square feet of space.
