Dsquared² reinvents the free spirited aesthetic of the 70s with its latest collection for Resort 2012. The colorful collection featured neon colors like cerulean, hot pink, lemon yellow, which echoed the groovy boho spirit of the 70s. Bell bottom trousers, in notice me pinks and yellows, were toughened up with milk chocolate hued leather bomber jackets, camper shirts and tailored shorts got all grown up with colorful silk scarves tied around the neck. The collection also included animal printed trench coats, pencil and A-line skirts paired with cardigans and crisp button down shirts that Marsha Brady would have coveted. Footwear for the Resort 2012 collection also received the 70s treatment with color blocking, wedge heels and ankle ties that delicately adorned the ankles of models.
