As women, we’re more critical about ourselves and as we age, that self-criticism goes into over drive.  For Dove’s latest “Real Beauty” campaign, the brand recruited women via Craigslist to meet in an empty warehouse, where a sketch artist, with his back turned to them, asked each woman to describe her face.  He then asked each woman to befriend another and they in turn described one another.  The side-by-side comparison of perception was shockingly different.  Seems like each person described themselves a lot harshly as opposed to what a stranger described. The 6:36 minute video will move you to tears as each subject see herself through a strangers eyes.  The campaign is really worth watching (below).
