Just last week, Harper’s Bazaar’s September sartorial savior – it’s biggest issue ever – spilled out of the mailboxes of style mavens. And before readers could even digest each tempting glossy page, the fashion file was already beckoning with a chance to snap up some of the seasonal best new bets featured on its pages.
Tuesday night at Kate Spade on the Upper East side, Harper’s Bazaar had a coming out party for Kate Spade’s new 2 Park Avenue Beau Bag. Bites, sips and shopping – and discounts on everything but the bag – brought out the city’s well-heeled preppies for a night of mingling (and monogramming) on Madison Avenue.
Jewelry and shoes were the event’s best sellers, though the purple 2 Park Avenue Beau piqued popular interest.
Because… A new season is starting. And honestly, who isn’t itching for a new Beau?
