The rumor mill has been swirling for weeks about Janet Jackson launching a lingerie line. This week, Janet put to rest those rumors by announcing her partnership with Australian designer Bruno Schiav to design a line of lingerie. The Pleasure Principle collection, named after Janet’s 1987 hit single, will be a collection of Chantilly lace and satin bras and panties ranging in sizes 32A to 44G. Janet’s line is for every woman. She insists that every piece in the Pleasure Principle line will made of quality fabrics and trims but will be affordable for every woman. The collection will be priced under $40.

“I’ve always hated when lingerie is uncomfortable, so the fit and comfort was key. People have come to me with other ideas, but lingerie is a passion for me, and just like music and acting, I can’t do it unless I put 100 percent into it,” Janet said to USA Today. “There’s something for every woman, and that’s very important to us,” she added.

The first preview of the collection looks very promising. I am certain that Janet’s fans will welcome the Pleasure Principle line with open arms.
