Henri Bendel Suite 712 review

Fifth Avenue staple and premiere accessories destination, Henri Bendel, is celebration its 120th Anniversary in a fabulous way. Bendel launched its second perfume, aptly named Suite 712, inspired by its legendary address and landmark townhouse at 712 Fifth Avenue, this May.  The first perfume, Un Peu d’Elle, launched 100 years ago.

The Henri Bendel Suite 712 perfume is striking, sexy and reminiscent of the Bendel’s girl, a girl who knows what she wants and marches to the beat of her own drum.  I’ve been wearing the scent for a few weeks and never get tired of it.  It goes on in a very fine mist with top notes of Italian Bergamont, sparkling Mandarin blossom and quince.  As the scent settles, you get middle notes of hedoine, blue freesia and iris.  Once it dries, you get the base notes of suede, white sandalwood and cashmere musk.  It’s the perfect scent for day or night. I prefer to wear it for a night out because it’s smells a bit more sexier on me than most of my other perfumes.

The bottle it as striking as the elixir itself.  The scent is housed in a tall rectangular bottle with the famous chocolate and white print that’s been a signature on the store’s bags and hat boxes since it’s launch.

Henri Bendel Suite 712 Eau de Parfum (100ml/3.4fl oz) will be available for $98 at Henri Bendel locations nationwide and henribendel.com.
