Washington’s newest “It Boy” Andy Baldwin has been hitting the charity circuit since he moved into the area. The former ABC reality show star from the Bachelor, who definitely fits the mold as an Officer and a Gentleman, is actively using his popularity for good by participating, not just attending, charity events to raise money for some pretty awesome organizations. Just this past Saturday, Andy ran in the Marine Corps marathon. As if that were not enough, he is going to run the New York City Marathon this Sunday all in the name of children. He is tring to reach $2,000 but the more he raises, the more money goes to the Armory Foundation, which runs the busiest after-school sports location in New York City and helps underserved and deserving track and field athletes take the high road to higher education. The Armory College Prep program does a great job in keeping hundreds of young runners off and on track to a more productive future.

Please read his note below:

Dear Friends:

Please help me run marathons back to back for charity. I did Marine Corps marathon on Sunday and am willing to run NYC marathon this weekend. I know it’s nuts but to help the kids of NY stay on track I’ll do it. Just need to raise $2k in the next 24 hrs. Every little bit counts. I’ll match your donation and write your name on the honorary NYC Armory Track and Field Foundation tshirt!

Use the link https://www.active.com/donate/TeamArmoryTrack/ABaldwi19 to donate. The website is secure, fast and easy to use. At the website you will be able to choose an amount to donate and receive email confirmation of your donation.

Thanks in advance for your help.
