The weekends are meant for rest and relaxation but come Monday, the number one goal should be starting the work week off in the right direction.  Monday motivators come in many forms. For us, having a killer outfit sets the right tone for co-workers and our mission for the week. Whether brokering deals on Wall Street or lobbying with a state senator in Washington for an important bill to pass, looking like a power house is imperative.

Wearing white to the office should never be a crime, unless spilling coffee, chocolate and greasy lunches is your forte.  We adore French Connection's line of sharply tailored dresses appropriate enough for the work day.  White can be a power color if you make it so, in the right silhouette of course.  The French Connection Crepe Delux Dress is a current favorite.  The short sleeve tailored dress with a knotch collar and wide waistband is flattering on most figures. Busty girls be warned, this is not a dress you should be wearing to the office if you are well endowed in the upper body.

We're deep into the summer, which means most people have either acquired a nice tan, have naturally dark skin or have the olive under tone that look great in white.  We love wearing blue and are a bit disappointed that we haven't worn the color palette enough this summer.  Blue, white and gold are a fabulous combination, which is why wearing the Badgley Mischka Hyde peep toe pumps in blue as well as the Givenchy Rectangular Drop Earrings are a must today as we broker deals.  Of course we can't let time slip away during long meetings, after all, time is money.  MICHAEL Michael Kors Glitz Rectangle Watch looks lux and professional for the office.

We don't like leaving paper trails so making sure every thing we need for our meetings are neatly packed in slim briefcase is key.  It's alright to leave the girly tote bags and satchels at home.  We are playing with the big boys this Monday so the Lodis Audrey Slim Triangle Briefcase is a perfect way to look polished while zipping from meeting to meeting.
