Brace yourself Washington, Donatella Versace is coming to town. TIME magazine invited the fiesty designer to the annual White House Correspondents Dinner on April 26. Not sure if guests are expecting to be clothed in couture gowns and tailored tuxedos for the dinner but I am certain this event will be talked about for weeks in Washington.
Is Donatella looking to get into politics? Her brother is running for the Italian Parliament. Don’t quit your day job Donatella because the fashion world would certainly miss you. Versace will be the guest of Time’s Style and Design editor Kate Betts and managing editor Rick Stengal. I wonder who else will be seated at their table. Where will she hang before and after the dinner? Perhaps drinks with Franco at Milano?
