I spend so much time at the Nordtrom department store that I might as well move in to the junior’s department and set up shop just writing my blog and trying on new clothes. Anyhow, I ran out of mascara and needed a new tube so I hit up the Shiseido makeup counter, where I spent the next 45 minutes playing with their spring pastel eyeshadows and pencils. After picking up one tube of the went the Makeup Advanced Mascara and their lip gloss in Pretty Pink, the makeup counter lady, informed me of an upcoming event at Nordstrom.
On Saturday, March 15, the Pentagon City Nordstrom will host its annual Cosmetic Trend Show. For a modest $15.00 cover, which will apply toward the purchase of any beauty/cosmetics product on the day of the event, you can R.S.V.P. The doors open at 7:30 a.m. but I swear it is worth every penny. Shiseido will be giving away an awesome goody back filled with face products and makeup. The Trend Show will be an affair to remember. There will be makeup artists prepped and ready to give makeovers, which means you HAVE to r.s.v.p. soon at your favorite makeup counter before all the time slots fill up. Each attendee will receive a Nordstrom goody bag, water, and some snacks to keep your energy up while watching runway shows and shopping to hot tunes spun by a hired disc jokey.
