Gina and I have known each other for almost two years now. What started as just a casual going out friend turned into admiration and respect for one of the most fashionable women I’ve ever met. The first thing you notice about Gina Jun is her smile and then her long legs that seem to go on for miles and miles.

The George Washington University Law School grad and now practicing attorney is hands down in the top five best dressed list. Gina’s infectious smile and gusto is a breath of fresh air among the stuffy and too serious socialites. In a social set where most women have not been able to pinpoint their style identity, Gina Jun has hers down to an art form. She is a lover of lux brands like Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, David Yurman and many others.

Even in a bar setting, you can spot Gina as she is the shining star in the room. What makes her so adorable and chic is her confidence and the way she makes anyone feel at ease. She has been a friend, a mom, a style counselor and more importantly a role model to look up to. Ask anyone who knows Gina and they will tell you that there is never a frumpy day for this fashionista. Even at football practice, she shows up looking casually chic and ready for sports in Burberry and Chanel. Her style is ultra lux but she never looks stuffy or over the top.

Name: Gina Jun

How would you describe your look?
Classic, but flirty and bold

What should every woman have in her wardrobe?
A flattering, versatile black dress

Do you have a fashion mentor?
Just me, myself and I…

Who are your favorite designers?
DVF – her clothes fit me like a glove – she’s my fave! I also love Missoni, Roberto Cavalli, Gucci, Emilio Pucci, Dolce & Gabbana.

What designers or labels do you actually wear the most?
DVF, BCBG, Pucci, Iodice, Theory.

First designer item ever bought?
Hmmm, Jordache jeans – a loooong time ago – think my grandma gave me the money for them.

Where do you shop?
Saks, Neiman’s, Cusp, Intermix.

What are you lusting after right now?
Nothing in particular, but I love fun, bright-colored dresses that transition well from day to night, which is why I love DVF.

What’s the one thing you can’t live without?
Hmmmm, that’s a toughie… Currently, my Cartier Roadster – I always need to know what time it is. Plus, I love big jewelry.

To Latenight or Not to Latenight?
Depends on what I have going on the next day and the company.

In one sentence, what do you actually do all day in your job?
Read, research, tell persuasive stories and write, mostly.

What’s your favorite bar?
Depends on the night (and my mood), but I like any bar that plays good dance music, has clean bathrooms and serve Belvedere. It’s mostly about the people and the energy that makes the place, for me.

What’s in your DVD player right now?
Nothing. Haven’t been home much.

How much is too much to spend on a pedicure?
Wrong person to ask…I usually spend about $40-50 a month on pedicures, and I’m told I spend too much.

When’s bedtime?
I’m a night owl. It varies, but I try to get to bed no later than 1 am.

Brunch: pro or con?
PRO

Most expensive thing in your closet?
Not sure. I have a pair of over the top Manolos and Chanels, which, in retrospect, were excessive. I also have an amazing Roberto Cavalli dress, which cost a pretty penny.

What do you hate most about living in DC?
Traffic

Metro, Cab it or Drive?
Drive, preferably. Metro riders and cab drivers really try my patience sometimes.

Style icon who represents your style the most?
Not sure. No one person comes to mind. I admire Gwen Stefani’s style, because its edgy and unique – though I probably wouldn’t wear most of the things she dons necessarily. I like people that take risks with fashion.

Vogue, Elle or Bazaar?
Vogue

Ravens or Redskins?
Redskins

If you could be anything what would it be?
A mom.

Would you rather be a superhero or a villain?
What powers would you have? Superhero. The power to heal, grant wishes, fly and be forever young!

What is the one thing you do often when no one is looking?
Check my BB.
