I’ve always believed that form, function and fashion go hand in hand. For 80% of the time, fashion makes perfect sense to me and I usually buy most of the things I fancy because they are functional and fit my form. Cars, in my book are the same way. Living in Manhattan, I often forget that I was a driver in my former life. Often hoping into my mom’s two door to go grocery shopping or grabbing drinks with friends. Of course cars are an extension of a person’s personality. For me, the car you choose says a lot about your lifestyle, personality and style.
When Chevrolet approached me about what inspires me about the new Malibu, I was quick to jump at the chance to do some exploring. For starters, Isaac Mizrahi has partnered with the iconic car brand to design a collection made for women, with form, function and fashion in mind. The designer is traveling across America, meeting women in different cities in his Malibu.
As a girl with classically conservative style, I tend to opt for clean silhouettes and colors that are classic yet contemporary. The new Chevy Malibu is sleek and stylish, with modern amenities for the technologically savvy. You can sync your smartphone with the car to play Pandora or any music on your phone (ditching those pesky CDs). The 2013 Chevy Malibu has a Remote Start and Keyless Access with Push Button Start, which is convenient and safety conscious, especially for women. The coolest feature I am certain ladies will be loving this winter is that you can start and set the temperature int he Chevy Malibu before you even set foot inside it.
I love road trips but can’t stand the cramped space in cars. The new Chevy Malibu fixes that with a more roomy interior and sport-sculpted seats for comfort. There is lots of room with a storage area behind the 7 inch touch screen. The jet black interior is so sleek, just like the iconic little black dress. With the option to build your car just the way you want it, including spectacular colors like Crystal Red Tintcoat and Black Granite Metallic, making an entrance never looked so good.
