As a discerning tastemaker and passionate advocate for self love and size inclusion, I am on a mission to dismantle the outdated notion that style is the exclusive domain of the slender. My philosophy centers on dressing for the life you aspire to lead while embracing the body you inhabit today. By artfully blending luxurious and moderately priced brands, I strive to make fashion accessible to all.
In recent years, I have embraced sustainability across all aspects of my life, seeking out environmentally friendly pieces and curating my wardrobe to combat consumerism. Born in Accra, Ghana, I spent my formative years there before relocating to the United States in middle school. My upbringing in Northern Virginia with my parents and three brothers profoundly shaped my worldview. Since launching Glamazon Diaries in 2007, I have made Washington, D.C., and New York City my home, frequently returning to Ghana to stay connected with my rich heritage.
In 2021, I married my husband Thomas, a culinary connoisseur from France. Together, we share an insatiable love for food, delighting in the diverse flavors of Ghana, Morocco, Mexico, Italy, and France. Our kitchen is a vibrant tapestry of aromas, where I relish the role of the adventurous cook, while Thomas captivates our guests with his cocktail artistry. We thrive on entertaining friends, hosting intimate dinner parties within our apartment, and enjoying lively barbecues and brunches in our backyard.
In 2023, we welcomed our precious daughter, Olivia Grace, into our lives. As she embarks on her journey into toddlerhood at the tender age of 13 months, I am excited to share insights on parenting, family life, and a sprinkle of delightful snapshots of my little one and my husband. Join me as I navigate this joyful new chapter, sharing the beauty of motherhood and the adventures that lie ahead.
