USA Network characters united against discrimination and bigotry on Monday evening at the Stephen Schwarzman Building of the New York Public Library. Five storytellers, actor and hip hop artist Mos Def, Barney’s Simon Doonan, youth advocate and author Wes Moore, Paralympic athlete Aimee Mullins and anti-bullying advocate Sirdeaner Walker read their stories in front of a live audience for Moth Project story telling event themed: A More Perfect Union: Stories of Prejudice and Power.  Following the reading, guests were invited to the lobby for a late evening reception with USA Network stars.

Among the stars that were at the reception were: Covert Affairs’ Peter Gallagher, Anne Dudek and Kari Matchett, Psych’s Dule Hill and White Collar’s Matt Bomer and Tim DeKay.  Anne Dudek, who I loved in White Chicks looked tres chic in a black and gold tweed Tibi dress, which she paired with black pumps. With legs for days, the Tibi mini dress was the perfect Monday night LBD.

Kari Matchett is as gorgeous in person as she is on screen. She opted for a strapless Betsey Johnson dress for the occasion. Her kitten heel slingback heels and black handbag completed her look. My two favorite USA Network actors, Matt Bomer and Peter Gallagher, were as fun and genuine as I imagined them to be.  Of course dancing to Michael Jackson with Matt was the highlight of my evening and a great way to start off the week. I also came to the realization that Peter Gallagher has still got it. His piercing blue eyes and that dashing smile kept the ladies in the room drooling. Covert Affairs and White Collar come back next year for another season.
