How many hair products do you currently have in your shower? How many hair products have you tried in the past two years? If your situation is anything like mine, then you’ll probably guestimate the number of bottles in your shower to be at least 6. Am I right or am I right?

Don’t you wish there was a way to take the guesswork out of finding the right hair products made just for you without spending an arm and a leg? Well, wish no more because the Hair Lab by Strands is here to finally help us all solve our hair care conundrums with science-backed customized hair products. The brand has three shampoos (Moisturizing, Revitalizing, and Clarifying) and three conditioners (Moisturizing, Revitalizing, and Clarifying) along with 10 “doses,” which are specifically formulated ampules that are mixed into the shampoo and conditioner to target specific hair and scalp issues.

I had the privilege of attending the Hair Lab by Strands Speakeasy event last night to discover the product line for myself.  Upon arrival, I was asked to use the hair scanner machines over my parted hair in order to analyze my scalp to get the proper product recommendation based on my unique biology. It took less than two minutes to complete my questionnaire and scan. The Hair Lab by Strands recommended the Clarifying Shampoo and the Well-Balanced Conditioner and three “doses” for my hair type. I prescribed the Curl Define, Moisture Boost, and Scalp Reset Dose sets.

It’s super easy to use The Hair Lab by Strands hair cocktails. You simply add up to three doses to your shampoo and conditioner, shake, cover, then apply to your hair. It’s that simple. There are over 1000 combinations, meaning there is something for everyone.  Other doses include anti-frizz, anti-brass, color protection, heat defense, shine boost, curl define, and scalp reset. The Hair Lab by Strands products are clean and cruelty-free with no sulfates, parabens, phthalates, or mineral oils.

The brand is available at Walmart stores nationwide and online. Don’t fret if your Walmart doesn’t have a hair scanner. You can still take a short questionnaire to get your regimen.  The brand is also affordable. The shampoo and conditioner are under $9 and doses are under $3.

I am going to be using mine this weekend and will be back with a full review after a month or so of use. In the meantime, you can discover the brand here.
