Are you feeling guilty for splurging on big ticket items when you know you could be using that money for a worthy cause? ‘Tis the season for love, giving and shopping and luxury brands found the solution to kill three birds with one stone. Many designers are offering clothing, accessories and jewelry where proceeds from buying one of these products goes to charity.

Four years ago, Gucci partnered with UNICEF to design special items that would go on sale around the holidays to benefit and raise awareness of UNICEF. Four years later, the company has expanded it’s annul campaign to benefit UNICEF by bringing in Rihanna as the spokesperson for the collection. The chanteuse, currently one of the hottest and most successful in the music industry, was hands on in designing a collection of handbags, shoes, jewelry and scarves for the Tattoo Heart accessories collection. Twenty-five percent of the proceeds from the “Tattoo Heart” collection will benefit UNICEF’s program to improve and increase life saving treatments to children in sub-Saharan Africa.

“The work that UNICEF does in the world is so incredible,” she says. “And I am honored to be able to join forces with Gucci to create this amazing campaign which will contribute to UNICEF. I think the campaign and the sales of these beautiful products can make the difference.”
