Winter Whites and How to Make them Luxe

Winter is officially here and there’s nothing more luxurious than a winter white look to lighten up the next 90 cold and drab days before spring. I don’t know about you, but I threw out that rule book about wearing not white after Labor Day a long time ago. I regale in looking ethereal like fresh fallen snow in Central Park. In honor of the first day of the winter equinox and me missing the first major snowfall in New York, I give you my I wish I was making snow angels look.

I love tulle skirts and I cannot lie. They are so fun and flattering and even though I dropped out of ballet III in college, I can’t help but put one on anytime I want to dress for joy. This tulle skirt is from Amazon fashion and comes in over 20 colors. It’s also size inclusive since it goes up to size 5XL. I own it in several colors.

Don’t be afraid to put a Glamazon spin on winter whites and definitely think outside the box. I loved the idea of wearing a sweater with this tulle skirt but wanted some texture so I picked up a snowy white pompon sweater with lantern sleeves. It comes in lavender and green. The outfit was missing something. It just felt basic with just the sweater so I added a faux collar (an homage to Karl Lagerfeld) to make it extra luxe.

Of course it wouldn’t be a Glamazon outfit without some serious head gear in the form of pearl clips. I pretty much piled on all my favorite Amazon pearl clips (an inspo from runway shows during NYFW) to make a major statement.
