I wrote about killer shoe trends for the spring earlier this week and just wanted to follow up with a commentary on Victoria Beckham and her fashion choices. I am now convinced that this fashion conscious mother of two and aspiring designer can pull off ANYTHING or at least give it her all in the name of looking good. Victoria showed up at Macy’s in New York with her husband David to launch their newest his and hers fragrances in a show stopping Antonio Berardi heeless PVC over the thigh boots. Now any other woman would have looked trashy, but for some reason I find Posh’s choice of shoes a little bit of a healthy risk. My only question is how the hell she manages to stand straight and look so chic without effort. She looks so confident posing for the cameras. I wonder how many squats and calf raises she had to do to get the strength to wear those. All I know is that this makes sense to me why designers keep cranking out the most outrageous shoes for women. Posh demands daring, high mile shoes and darn it, designers will give it to her. You go girl, for being able to stand on your two heeless feet.
