On September 13, 2008, Lifetime Television will premiere it’s three-hour original movie about haute couture icon Coco Chanel. The biopic stars Academy Award winning actress Shirley MacLaine as the influential Coco Chanel in the “rags-to-riches” story. Lifetime expects the movie to be one of the most watched of all their original movies. Also staring in the movie is Marc Bouchier as Chanel’s business associate and confidante. The movie will air on Saturday, September 13 at 8 pm EST.

Stein (White Nights), Matilde Bernabei (War and Peace) and Simon Vaughan (Wallis

II) served as the producer and Andrea Asimow (The Heartbreak Kid) was associate
producer. Christian Duguay (Human Trafficking, Hitler: The Rise of Evil and Joan
of Arc) directed from a script written by Enrico Medioli (Once Upon a Time in
