My friend Jill is the queen of rompers and through her, I’ve learned how to style a jumpsuit for any occasion.  I have to admit that I am a novice in the jumpsuit game because I always lean towards dresses for their ease.  I finally caved and bought a jumpsuit from ASOS for my trip to Montreal last week.  I am officially in love and a jumpsuit fan.  Just like dresses, jumpsuits are also a one and done. This means there’s no additional coordination of other separates to complete the look.

I still  wanted to accessorize my ASOS Polk Dot jumpsuit because well, no outfit is ever complete without earrings or a bag.  Zara has been killing it lately in the accessories department. I couldn’t help but buy some statement earrings and a bag from their spring collection.  What I love about Zara is their affordable price point on a collection that looks ultra luxe.  I kept the look pretty simple with my Stuart Weitzman ‘NudistSong’ heels, these cat eye sunglasses from Mulberry & Grand, Zara earrings and bag.

T and I went to the Hotel William Gray in Old Montreal on Monday afternoon for cocktails and to take in the sights of the city.  There was a light drizzle outside and I neglected to bring practical shoes.  It was also in the low 30s so I was bundled up tight in my trench coat and red Coach gloves. The hotel is absolutely breathtaking with a beautiful lounge area and a bar for cocktails, plus a pool table for those who want to play.

The outdoor patio was not open because it’s not warm enough yet but I got the feeling that the place gets packed in the spring, when the weather actually cooperates.  Hotel William Gray also houses Boutique OTH, a small boutique that caters to both men and women as well as Cafe Olympico for a croissant and a latte.  There was very light foot traffic so we were able to imbibe on sidecar cocktails and snap this polka dot jumpsuit.  I’m definitely staying here the next time I’m in Montreal, which is going to definitely be this fall to watch the leaves change. In the mean time, make sure you read our review of Au Pied De Cochon, an extremely decadent restaurant and a crown jewel in Montreal.
