Designers Viktor & Rolf partnered with make-up and beauty specialists at Shu Uemura to create some stylicious lashes for their fall/winter 2008-9 runway show and the to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Shu Uemura’s flagship Beauty Boutique on Omotesanto, Tokyo. The dramatic lashes are part of the emerging trend in falsies. Viktor & Rolf for Shu Uemura falsies are showstoppers. The paper clip lashes are outrageously fabulous. I am not sure if I have the diva-rific flair to rock these however for those that love dramatic make-up, these are for you.
The Viktor & Rolf for Shu Uemura come in three sets of false eyelashes that retail for $120 – called Wing, Wing 2, and Rhombus. If you want to try these but have no clue where to start, head to the makeup counter at Shu Uemura where one of their makeup experts can either apply them for you or give you a brief tutorial. False lashes are a must for an evening of glamour. Do not get intimidated by them. Application is easy, especially if you get the individual lashes to add a little bit of volume to your peepers.
