The second annual Walk To Beat The Clock in Washington, DC will raise awareness about cervical health and the tools that women have to prevent this disease: Pap tests, HPV tests, and HPV vaccines. The thousands raised will be re-invested in the community Tamika and Friends serves. 80% of women will get HPV, the virus that causes cervical cancer World wide, cervical cancer is the second leading cancer killer in women. HPV & cervical cancers are almost always 100% preventable. Join us for an opening ceremony, MC’s by Channel 7’s Cynee Simpson.

The picturesque walk route will take us through West Potomac Park and around the Tidal Basin. Then, we will celebrate our success with entertainment and performances by special guests. Help Tamika and Friends’ mission of educating women and preventing cervical cancer at the 2008 Walk To Beat The Clock. Together, we can eradicate this disease!
