Join the members of the Capital Club of Washington, D.C. on Friday, June 13th, 2008 at 8:00 pm at THE SPACE for the kick off party for the First Annual Trey Lefler Memorial Golf Classic.
Proceeds from the Trey Lefler Memorial Golf Classic Kick-Off Party and Golf Classic will benefit the Trey Lefler Scholarship Fund, to fund scholarships for college bound students at University of the South (Sawanee).
Jack Heatherly Lefler, III, known to friends simply as Trey, a native of Loudon, Tennessee and an active member in the Washington, DC community lost his life in a tragic car accident on November 22, 2007 at the age of 25. While in Washington, Trey served as a board member of the Capital Club of Washington, DC, a mentor in the “Everybody Wins” reading program, and a founding member of the Capitol Entertainment Group.
To celebrate his life and legacy, the Capital Club will be hosting the First Annual Trey Lefler Memorial Golf Classic, a members only golf tournament being held on Saturday, June 14. Come out to THE SPACE, 901 N Street, NW and celebrate Trey’s loving and generous spirit. $20 donation to benefit the Trey Lefler Scholarship Fund.
