Good morning from Montreal. T had a business trip in Montreal and I decided to tag along so that I can do a travel guide and also explore the city. This is the third day of the trip and I’m enjoying Montreal fully. We kicked a Friday night with a decadent dinner at Au Pied du Cochon, a gorgeous little restaurant in inserts neighborhood. We dined on foie gras, Customary oysters and shared a bottle of wine and shots with the chef and owner.

I’ll have an extensive review of the restaurant this week with photos so you can experience everything through pictures and you can also see why this restaurant is highly revered and regarded as one of them can’t miss restaurants in Montreal. T worked all weekend so I decided to explore the city by myself during the day and we dine together in the evenings at some amazing restaurants.

On Saturday afternoon I walked all over the city actually I lied, I walked down Rue Saint Catherine, all the way down to the gay village taking in the shopping sites and sounds. Montreal has a lot of the same shops that New Yorkers have however there are some specialty shops that I loved going into. I also took the opportunity to go to Old Montreal where the architecture is simply divine plus a plethora of galleries to devour art.

I also had brunch at a quaint little restaurant called Tommy. The decor it was so beautiful and reminded me of a restaurant that I would see in the West Village. Make sure you follow me on Instagram to check out my stories for recaps of all the places that I’ve visited while here. I have to say I’m in love with Montreal and I can see myself living here. The only thing is that it’s so cold and it seems like spring is never arriving. T and I went to dinner on Saturday night at a restaurant called Santos, a tapas bar in old Montreal that turns into a club at night after 11 PM.

My uniform of choice for sightseeing has been my NYDJ Curve 360 jeans. The recently launched collection is tailored for curvy girls with the NYDJ Lift x Tuck technology to cinch all the right places and perfectly placed pockets to make flatter and lift my booty. One thing I love about the cut is the fact that there is no gap in the waist area. The fit is sublime and moves with my body. It’s also very flattering on every curve. I love the jeggings, which I wore on the flight here and this rolled hem style. It’s been raining sporadically throughout the days we’ve been been here so I’ve also been wearing my ASOS trench coat quiet a bit. We’ll be here until Tuesday then I’ll make sure to edit the hundreds of photos I’ve snapped so far and put together a travel guide for you.
