Good Morning Friends and happy Friday! I just love when the weekend rolls around. It means I get to spend quality time with T cooking breakfast and lunch together and shooting some outfit pics around Brooklyn. This weekend is a bit different. We’re heading to Montreal, Quebec for a mini vacation. We’ll be there until Tuesday and I am planning on eating my way through the city and hopefully put together a travel guide for you all. It will be my first time in Canada so I’m super excited.
I’ve been blogging for almost 11 years now and been to epic parties. Like the one time I snuck into the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show after party at the Dream Hotel by jumping into Kanye West’s entourage! Who gon’ check me boo? Anyway, I attended a fabulous party thrown by Swarosvki to celebrate its Times Square boutique and what a fete it was! The entire party with glittering with crystals. It was glitzy, glamorous and brilliant and almost all my old blogger friends were there.
The brand didn’t disappoint when it came to decor. Glossy mags newspapers were bedazzled with Swarovski crytals, even The New York Times, got the sparkle treatment. I was obsessed with the ketchup and mustard bottles and couldn’t get enough of the crystal encrusted pigeons. Check my Instagram Stories for b-roll. I wore this peplum blazer from Eloquii on top of an old ASOS dress I converted into a skirt. I kept my look pretty simple with sleek hair and a pop of color via my ELF Cosmetics teal cream eye shadow.
