I’m so spent after a long weekend of cleaning and cooking meals for the week.  I have been trying to meal prep as much as I can by making hearty soups we can quickly warm up for mid-week dinners.  I also organized my closet, ensuring that all my transition pieces for winter to spring were in plain sight.  Since we’ve got two more weeks of snow in the forecast, I am keeping winter coats right where they’re hanging until April.

Aren’t we all tired of this dreary weather?  Although I must admit that I am a little weary of the upcoming allergy season.  I guess it’s time to stock up on Claritin D and Zyrtec.  My mom suggested I start eating local honey since it’s got bee pollen that get their nectar from local flowers.  What are some of your tried and true allergy remedies? I need all the help I can get to keep itchy, watery eyes at bay.

As I wrote previously, I am a sucker for midi skirts and stock up new styles every chance I get.  So was the case when I went to Ghana last year.  I had our family seamstress Rita make me a few for spring. I’m still getting plenty of use from my cherry tomato Eloquii coat, which is sold out but still available in green and perfect for St. Patrick’s Day.
