Winter is coming y’all! Have you swapped out your beauty products yet? If you haven’t, it’s time to re-evaluate your daily routine to include products that will keep dry skin at bay.

I just tried the new Redbook Beauty Box and it had a few products that are going to be a part of my winter beauty arsenal. Three products I recently tried have been giving me major life for the past two weeks. First up is the new Dove Dry Oil Moisture Nourishing Body Wash, which takes care of the largest organ on my body. Infused with Moroccan Argan Oil, which doesn’t strip my skin of it’s natural oils, it’s the mini escape I need each morning to start my day and each night to end it.

The formula lathers up nicely and has the most beautiful scent to leave my body supple and hydrated. I tried the Dove Dry Oil Body wash the first night and didn’t use any lotion. My skin wasn’t was dry as it would have been after using other body washes. The NutriumMoisture technology allows the product to penetrate the skin surface up to ten layers. Goodbye ashy winter skin, hello soft, supple body.

Let’s talk hair for a moment. I love a full head of hair, hence the reason I wear extensions but when I take them out, I prefer my fine hair a bit thicker. I gave OGX Strength + Body Bamboo Fiber Full Thickening Root Booster a chance after taking my extensions out. I shampooed and conditioned my hair then apply the OGX bamboo Root Boost Spray into my hair, with a focus on my scalp. I then blow dried my hair. The result was thicker roots with a lot of body and fuller hair.

Last but not least is the Eczema relief for the hands. For the SkinFix Hand Cream for dry, cracked and irritated hands, I asked my little brother, who suffers from eczema to try out the hand lotion for a week and tell me if he loved it. It contains 1% colloidal oatmeal and Shea butter to immediately relieve dry skin. It is emollient and leaves my hands ash free even after washing. SkinFix Hand Repair cream is a must have for ski trips to dry, cold weather locations this winter.
