lavazza Kilimanjaro

“But first coffee” has been a mantra of mine since freshman year of college and that’s with good reason. The nice morning jolt I get from my first sip always gets my day started.  As a lover of Lavazza coffee’s Perfetto, it takes a lot for me to switch to something new.  Enter Kilimanjaro and Santa Marta, two new coffee blends from the premier Italian coffee connoisseur that’s been giving my roommates and me life for the past month.

The Lavazza Kilimanjaro from Tanzania, and Santa Marta from Colombia, are first rate blends with attitude.  Kilimanjaro is a medium blend coffee from 100% Arabica beans straight from one of Africa’s most renowned mountains.  It’s not as bold as the Gran Selezione, which I love for cold winter mornings but perfect for a pick me in in the cooler fall months.

My roommates wake me up each morning with the aroma of a freshly brewed pot that lingers down the hall to my room. It’s worth noting that I enjoy a cup of my Lavazza Kilimanjaro coffee with homemade banana bread. Lavazza Santa Marta comes from Colombia, renowned for their exquisite coffee blends and this one is first rate. Though it’s perfect for a French press, I enjoy my cup in my single serving Keurig cup, which is available on Amazon for those who don’t love their coffees that are still not available in k-cups.

If you’re into coffee as I am, Lavazza is offering 20% off it’s two latest blends, the Kilimanjaro and Santa Marta.  Simply head to Lavazza.us and snag a bag.

Also, don’t forget to check out the U.S. Open and hopefully see Serena Williams make history.
