Olivia Palermo’s pending nuptials to her German hunk Johannes Huebl was one of the most talked about events during the New Year and New York Fashion Week. The street style star and model graces the June/July cover of Brides, on newsstands now.
Olivia models a few of her favorite gowns from Bridal Fashion Week for the mag and gives a few tips and shares insights on some of her favorite bridal gown designers, which include Reem Acra, Monique Lhuillier, Jenny Packham, Marchesa and Vera Wang.
Olivia advises sooon-to-be brides to “check out the Marchesa, Oscar de la Renta, or Carolina Herrera shows online. And even if your dream dress comes right off the rack, add your own touch. Play with color. It’s all about the styling!” she said. As for her own wedding dress she hinted: ‘I always like to incorporate pops of color.’
