Yesterday, Glamour announced the launch of Lipstick.com, Condé Nast’s first digital spinoff that will actually begin as a mobile platform and then move to desktop capabilities. The site will offer tips, stories and informed trends from the industry’s most knowledgeable stylists, makeup artists, dermatologists, editors, brands and celebrities.

Lipstick.com will offer the opportunity to further connect with Glamour’s extensive digital readers with more specialized beauty content. New interactive features including the Ideas Button which will provide instant access to on-trend, on-the-go advice to help readers navigate real-life beauty scenarios such as choosing nail colors or deciding on a new haircut.

Other features such as the Heart It function will enable readers to “heart” photos and stories to drive the community aspect and engage the network, as well as Tap to Buy will allow readers to easily purchase products. Glamour will also introduce “Beauty Truth or Dare”, a new video content portion and InstaBeauty, 15-second Instagram hair tutorials.

Lipstick.com will provide an exciting new platform for Glamour with  constant, updated assortment of inspiration, beauty content and advice from the most respected and well-known influencers in the business.
