08-+-09-MOSCHINO-CAPSULE-FW-2014Anna della Russo had tongues wagging during Milan Fashion Week last month when she wore that now infamous Moschino ‘Fast Food’ dress and bag and plastered her images all over Instagram.  The prince of pop art fashion, Jeremy Scott was responsible for the look, which is among a plethora of pieces from his “Fast Food, Fast Fashion” capsule collection immediately after his first collection for Moschino in Milan.

The 10-piece collection is resplendent in red and yellow.  The Moschino logo is transformed into a familiar American fast food chain, ahem McDonald’s, and emblazoned on quilted leather bags, dresses, iPhone cases and tshirts.

Also “straight off the runway” are a T-shirt with the wording “I Do Speak Moschino” and a tee-dress with cartoon print of Mr Funtastik, a light-hearted allusion to the images on the packaging of the snacks consumed by the fast-food generation.

The new cult accessories include a rucksack in leather and printed nylon and an iPhone cover called “French Fry Case,” designed to look like a real take-away portion of French fries.

The collection has been available on moschino.com, in the fashion house’s single-brand stores and exclusively at Opening Ceremony (New York and Los Angeles), Browns (London), Colette (Paris), 10 Corso Como (Milan and Seoul), Hudson Bay (Toronto), Luisaviaroma (Florence).
