Oh snap! Dior just snatched Peter Philips, the genius creative director of Chanel Cosmetics. Dior tweeted the formal announcement this morning and Mr. Philips’ appointment is effective immediately. His predecessor will Tyen will remain within LVMH, though there is no word yet as to which label he will be moved to.

There is no word on who will replace Mr. Phillips at Chanel but we’re rooting for Pat McGrath. Pretty please!
