This past Sunday’s Grammy Awards opened with a bang. Beyonce Knowles gave a very risque and much buzzed about performance of her single Drunk In Love. On the red carpet, the singer opted for an illusion gown with nude, sheer inserts and white floral applique all over. The white, sheer and metallic trend was seen on stars like Taylor Swift, Paris Hilton and Sarah Bareilles.
I have recreated my streetstyle interpretation of this trend for the babe on a budget. I bought my white lace dress from Speigel for $19.00, which I paired with a trench from H&M ($45 on sale). My sunglasses are StunGlasses for $10 and my bag was a thrift store find for $5.
All accessories are from Forever21, which range in price from $1.88 to $2.80, except my earrings are from Alexandria based boutique Periwinkle. I bought it on sale for $15. My shoes are by Coach, shopped from my closet as usual.
