What is it about shoes that make women swoon so much? Sarah Jessica Parker can officially be called the ambassador of shoes.  Her iconic character Carrie Bradshaw made turned women onto designers like Manolo Blahnik and Christian Louboutin and for the past few weeks, we’ve been slowly unveiling some of the designs from her upcoming SJP shoe line.  The first image was a bit uninspired but consequent images have given us much more to smile about.

The SJP shoe collection launches at Nordstrom.com and Nordstrom stores nationwide February 28th but the designer gave O Magazine a peak at the entire collection, which we’re now loving more than ever.  What makes SJP anticipated is the not only the name behind the brand but the timelessness of each pair of shoes.

“The inspiration really was the idea of the single sole and really love color and treating color as a neutral, which isn’t super typical,” says Sarah Jessica.  “That’s what I loved about playing Carrie Bradshaw was that the rules didn’t seem to apply to her.  I love just wearing what I like to wear rather than what I feel is expected of me.”

In the magazine, on newsstands January 21, SJP tells Gayle, “These heels are high, but not like you’re on stilts,” she says. “There’s nothing sexy about not being able to walk.”  To be fair, there are a few flats in the collection for those who want to own a piece of the starlet but don’t want to sacrifice comfort.
