summer prints

Summer prints have been seen in abundance for women collections.  Stella McCartney, Diane von Furstenberg , Ports 1961 to Roberto Cavalli have all incorporated summer prints in their collections.  Its an added bonus to be festive in what women wear during the summer months. However, some men are not as daring as women to wear such prints. Fortunately that tide has changed and men are wearing bold summer prints.

We have seen our fair share of graphics tees and busy blazers. But we aren’t talking about just prints worn above the waist. Prints are migrating south in menswear in the form of decorated trousers. Of course a man can be bold with loud solids, but it takes personality to wear bold summer prints. Its even more exciting to see that this trend will remain for next season. Gucci highlighted floral prints in their 2014 Ready To Wear collection. Dsquared2 provided a summer print evening option with their James Dean inspired collection. Tom Ford offered lots of color for his Spring Ready to Wear collection with Mediterranean hues and florals.

Each of these demonstrate various ways to wear summer prints in any setting. However, most men would wear summer prints in a more casual setting and the prints already identified will not hit the market until 2014. There are still a variety of printed pants you can wear this summer to breath life into your closet. Brooks Brothers, Vinyard Vines, and Top Man are some of the brands that carry summer prints for men. As a word of caution, be careful in how you wear printed pants with your look.
