PradaPrada presented a spring 2014 men’s collection straight out of a fashionable war movie. As if a spy were on vacation, the collection was fun yet had a present dark side. The dark colors atypical of spring gave spunk with bold patterns, Hawaiian shirts, perfect for an era that turns Hawaiian life into Hollywood.

Seen on the runway were single and double breasted wool and cotton suits. The silhouettes were very relaxed with full-length, and slightly baggy trousers. Foliage sweaters mixed with floral print shirts and dark colors created a softer aesthetic. Weekenders and leather briefcases were also splashed with such intricate patterns and designs.

Overall the Prada collection was playful with a hint of cartoon meets Hawaii meets war era. Very different from what we have seen in past shows. The accessories stole the spotlight and we are certain they will be one of the high demands from this 2014 collection.
