Scandal actress Bellamy Young looked radiant on the red carpet of the 2013 NAACP Image Awards last night. Held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California, the event honored African American entertainers, artists and authors for their contributions in 2012. Bellamy, along with her co-stars, won the award for Best Television Series – Drama at the event.
She wore an eggplant colored J. Mendel gown with a shawl collar and a slight trumpet skirt. Her hair was pulled in a bun with a little volume in the front. We loved everything about this look except the gaudy necklace that made the look too matronly. She could have skipped the necklace and instead opted for a pair of statement earrings. Her makeup however was flawless. Love the blush and the lipstick.
