An all grown-up Selena Gomez accepted the Independent Spirit trophy at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards last night at Carnegie Hall.  The singer, actress and fashion designer is the youngest person to serve as a UNICEF ambassador and has been a big advocate in fighting poverty around the globe.

For her appearance, the brunette beauty donned a white knee-length peplum cocktail dress by Giambattista Valli with a lace-embroidered plunging v-neck that was layered with a sleeveless sheer illusion.  Accessorizing the dress were a pair of pale pink patent “Troy” pumps by Rupert Sanderson, chevron patterned minaudière by Judith Leiber, chevron pattern minaudière, Le Vian amethyst and diamond earrings and a pink stone “Millenium’s Fusion” ring by Graziela.
